What Xay One is, how it is made, and what you can expect from it.
Xay One is an immersive art project that blurs the boundaries between human and object. It combines an oversized teddy-bear costume with a living sculpture embodied by Evie Fayé, fully enclosed in latex, as the rubber doll inside the teddy bear. The work explores themes of control, vulnerability, and isolation, serving as a visual invitation into a relationship that has evolved over the years and seeks to express its emotional peaks.
The project is brought to life by Evie Fayé as the living sculpture and Raymond K. Larum as the photographer, videographer, and creative director. Together, they work closely to realize the artistic vision. Their collaboration is built on trust and dedication, with their interpersonal dynamic becoming an essential part of the project.
